Who Will Be the Next Divisional Commissioner of Ujjain ?
Sanjay Gupta, the Divisional Commissioner of Ujjain, superannuated on July 31, 2025. With Ujjain being the hometown of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela in 2028, the appointment of the next commissioner is critical. Dr. Yadav is likely to prefer a seasoned officer capable of managing large-scale events and infrastructure projects to ensure the Kumbh is memorable and successful.As of August 1, 2025, no official announcement has been made regarding Gupta’s successor.
